Up to 50 independent healthcare practices will receive 12 months of complete HIPAA Foundations training for up to 25 personnel — 19 modules, 95 knowledge assessments, administrator tracking, and QR-verifiable Certificates of Completion. Free for the year, and free from the usual conditions.

Why free? We want real offices to experience the full curriculum and help shape the advanced Pro training that comes next. No purchase, endorsement, or public review required.
HIPAA training got flattened. This is our attempt to un-flatten it — in real offices.
Most HIPAA training has been reduced to a completion exercise: watch a short video, answer a few questions, download a certificate and move on. We built Patient Protect differently. The HIPAA Foundations curriculum is broad enough to respect HIPAA’s complexity, modular enough for a HIPAA officer to curate, and structured to leave evidence at both the individual and office level.
The clearest way to demonstrate that difference is not to make more claims about the curriculum. It is to let real independent practices use the complete system.
We are opening the program to up to 50 practices so offices can experience the full curriculum while their implementation experience helps us understand where administrators struggle, which concepts require greater reinforcement, and what advanced role- and specialty-specific Pro training should come next.

The initiative delivers the workforce-training program at scale. Compliance operations, breach prevention, secure messaging, and the AI compliance assistant remain part of Patient Protect’s paid tiers.

Additional personnel beyond the 25-person promotional cap are available in 5-seat increments at $10 each, only if you explicitly add them. We do not add or bill seats you did not authorize.
The payment method is not charged for the included training.
Selected practices provide a payment method during activation. This verifies identity for a promotional program that would otherwise be trivial to abuse.
Payment credentials are handled by our PCI-compliant payment processor. Patient Protect never sees, stores, or transmits raw card numbers or verification values.
There is no hidden subscription conversion. Selected practices will not be charged for training-only access and will not automatically become Basic or Pro subscribers. We may invite participants to provide private product feedback, but no public review, testimonial, endorsement or positive statement is required.
Who this is for — and who it isn’t.
Eligible practices
- U.S.-based independent healthcare practices
- Applicant is at least 18 and authorized to act for the practice
- Practice has at least one administrator who can manage the training program
- Practice can begin implementation within 14 days of selection
- One application per organization
- Practices with more than 25 personnel may apply, subject to the 25-person promotional cap
Not eligible
- Current paying Patient Protect customers
- Duplicate applications from the same organization
- Applicants unable to designate an authorized administrator
- Fraudulent, incomplete or unverifiable applications
- Organizations applying primarily to resell or redistribute training access
How we select the participants.

Applications open
Any eligible independent healthcare practice can apply between now and September 21, 2026 at 11:59 p.m. Central Time. One application per organization.

Selection review
We review for eligibility, practice fit, implementation readiness, and diversity of specialty and geography. Up to 50 practices are selected.

Notifications
All applicants receive a decision by September 30, 2026. Selected practices receive a private activation link.

Activation
Selected practices activate within 14 days. Payment method verified at activation; no charge for included training access. Administrator provisions up to 25 personnel.

Complete the curriculum
Personnel work through the 19 modules and 95 knowledge-assessment questions on their own schedule. Certificates issued upon completion with a scannable QR verification code.
Nothing happens automatically when the year ends.
Access to the training curriculum concludes at the end of the promotional period unless the office explicitly chooses to continue with a paid subscription. Regardless of what the office decides, three things are permanent:
- Learner completion records remain in the office’s archive.
- Downloaded Certificates of Completion remain valid.
- The QR verification URL on every issued certificate stays live.
No email chase, no urgency countdown, no automatic conversion.

Yes. Selected offices pay nothing for the included training-only access for 12 months. There is no charge for the 19 HIPAA Foundations modules, 95 knowledge-assessment questions, administrator tracking, or QR-verifiable Certificates of Completion. Selected offices provide a payment method during activation for identity verification. No conversion is automatic.

No. There is no automatic conversion from training-only promotional access to a paid Basic or Pro subscription. If you decide to continue after the year, you can subscribe explicitly.
No public review, endorsement, testimonial or positive statement is required. Participation is not conditioned on any public commentary. We may invite participants to provide private product feedback.
